With no less than 6 fantastic family shows during the high season here at Pleasure Island this year, where else can ALL the family be entertained from morning until night? All our shows are suitable for all ages and promise to be bigger and better than previous years. With brand new Basil Brush, Tommy Tinkaboo and High School Summer Shows, as well as impressive new stunts and somersaults in the African Acrobat and Sea Lion Shows, all visitors, old and new, can experience these amazing performances for the very first time. So even if you don't like the thrills and spills of the rides but prefer your two feet firmly on the ground, there's still oodles to see and do here at Pleasure Island Family Theme Park.
The Basil Brush Laughter Show
Direct from CBBC's 'The Basil Brush Show' and 'Basil's Swap Shop', the superstar Fox from the Box returns to Pleasure Island bigger and better for 2008.
In a brand new live show, Basil will have the whole family in fits of giggles with his crazy jokes, silly songs and buckets of audience participation! It could be you!!! Boom Boom!!!
Basil will be at Pleasure Island from Sunday May 25th - Sunday June 1st and also from July 23rd - September 2nd. Be sure not to miss this hilarious show.
High School Summer
This all singing, all dancing show is a review of both High School Musical one and two. With all the popular songs from these well known Disney movies, this concert style performance has oodles of audience participation. Sing along with your favourite characters to your favourite songs and if you feel like it, try some dance steps too! This brand new show promises to be a real treat for children of all ages. Not one to be missed!

Tommy Tinkaboo's Birthday Surprise
Tommy Tinkaboo is very excited because it is his birthday and he is spending his special day in his favourite place - the Sweet Factory- with all his best friends. Tommy receives a very unusual present from his mum - a magical shrinking machine. Watch as Tommy and his friends get into a bit of trouble with this new invention. Another all singing, all dancing production, full of laughter and well known songs such as 'Candyman' and 'Push the Button'. A must for the younger children!

The African Acrobat Show
By popular demand this show is back again at Pleasure Island, only this time the somersaults are bigger and the acrobatics are better. With a new team of impressive athletes, this show boasts lots of dare devil stunts and audience participation. Watch as these acrobats limbo dance under a pole that lies just 25 cm off the ground. A great show for all the family!

Sea Lion Show
A true family favourite, this show attracts a full house at every show. These truly magnificent creatures impress every audience as they eagerly perform their tricks and high flying somersaults. This season, there will be a new show from our resident sea lions Robert, Zac and Bonnie. This is the longest standing show at Pleasure Island and once you have seen it, you too will know why.
This show will run throughout the entire season.
Parrot Show
Another Pleasure Island old timer, this superb show has entertained families for many years and as long as it remains as popular, it will continue to entertain for many years to come. Meet Jethrow, Ollie and their companions as they show off their skills and make their audience laugh. The 2008 performance brings some new tricks and surprises too!
This show will run throughout the entire season.
