Pleasure Island

Every year Pleasure Island has approximately 200 seasonal vacancies to fill. These vacancies are either full or part time. Employment starts before Easter and runs through to November.

Our main catchment areas are Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Immingham and the surrounding villages although we do offer jobs to applicants from further afield Doncaster, Sheffield or Rotherham. However we cannot at this time offer accommodation.

Returning Staff

If you have worked for us in the 2009 season you may automatically be sent an application form as we invite some valued staff to re-apply and bypass the main recruitment drive. Letters are usually sent early January.

Positions available

HOST/SINGER REQUIRED We are looking for a Host/Singer with a lively personality to host and entertain our customers in our lively McCormack’s Family Bar. You will be required to work 3 to 6 nights a week, dependant upon the time of the season. This position is to work evening’s only, starting at approximately 6:00pm-7:30pm and finishing at the latest 12.00 midnight/12:30. It is preferable if you have previous experience as a Compere, hosting game shows, children’s entertaining, karaoke, DJing etc. A GOOD SINGING VOICE IS AN ESSENTIAL and own cabaret is an advantage.
